The Right Part, Ready When You Need It
One of the biggest frustrations homeowners face with garage door repair is waiting days for parts to arrive. At JS Garage Door Services, we've solved that problem by stocking our service trucks with the most commonly needed springs, cables, rollers, hinges, opener parts, and weatherstripping for all major door brands and sizes.
Whether your torsion spring snapped overnight, your bottom seal is letting in cold air, or your opener's logic board has failed — we almost certainly have the part on the truck. If we don't, we can typically source it within 24 hours from our local supplier network.

Common Parts We Replace Every Day
Torsion Springs
Torsion springs are the most commonly replaced garage door component. A standard spring lasts 7–10 years under normal use. When a spring breaks, the door typically won't open at all. We always recommend replacing both springs at the same time — if one has broken, the other is likely near the end of its life as well.
We stock high-cycle springs rated for 15,000–25,000 cycles — significantly longer than the standard 10,000-cycle springs that come on most new doors. This upgrade is available at a modest additional cost and can double the life of your spring system.
Cables & Rollers
Lift cables work in tandem with your springs to raise and lower the door. Frayed or snapped cables are a serious safety hazard and should be replaced immediately. We use galvanized steel cables that resist rust — important in Minnesota's wet winters and humid summers.
Worn rollers are the most common cause of noisy garage doors. Upgrading from standard steel rollers to nylon rollers with sealed bearings can dramatically reduce noise and improve the smoothness of door travel. This is one of the most cost-effective upgrades available.
